Jalthi - heavy fighter
The Jalthi heavy fighter was a force to be reckoned with during the mid 2650s. It's 3 pairs of laser cannons spelled certain doom for any ship which approached from a straight on attack vector. The key to victory over a Jalthi was to keep out of the pilots front view, and attack from the sides or the rear. If caught off-guard by a Jalthi pilot, it would usually only take two shots before his victim was completely incinerated. Notable Kilrathi ace Bakhtosh Redclaw's weapon of choice was the Jalthi.
