Dralthi VII - jump-capable medium fighter
Active in 2669 in the Gemini sector, the Dralthi VII departs heavily in the visual department from its predecessors. The design resembles Kilrathi ships from the early 2660s, even though it succeeds the Dralthi IV, which is more in-line with Kilrathi design in 2669.

The Dralthi VII is the one we see in Privateer and Righteous Fire. Design-wise it's a bit controversial. Someone writing at Wikipedia seems convinced that the Dralthi VII is a modified Drakhri, in spite of strong arguments to the contrary. I see not even a resemblance. What I do see a resemblance between is the Dralthi VII and the Salthi light fighter model in Righteous Fire. In fact, it would seem to me that the the Dralthi VII is like a Salthi hull with bat wings, –and a “handle” on top (missile rack). However, if we consider the official length of the Salthi and add proportional bat-wings, we get a length that exceeds that of the Dralthi VII; though the lengths that we know of are those of their WC counterparts… In any case, don't listen to me; draw your own conclusions…
