In 2670, Ukar dai Ragark, of the Haka clan, was the governor of that province; and he had ambitions to conquer the Landreich as a way of restoring Kilrathi honor lost after the loss of Kilrah; –thus hopefully gaining popularity and help him oust Melek and take the throne as a new Emperor.
